Yellowjackets Season 2 Newcomers Share What's it Like Joining the Show
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kessell and Ambrose shared their experiences of joining the already-established cast of Yellowjackets and collaborating with their co-stars, Courtney Eaton and Liv Hewson, who portrayed the younger versions of their respective characters in the previous timeline.
"There was a little welcoming ceremony," Ambrose said.
Kessel shares that "there was a hazing period" for the newcomers. "They were like, 'Drink, drink, drink.' I was like, 'Oh, OK,'" the actress recalled.
Eventually, they were embraced by their co-stars, with Ambrose recalling that it was an enjoyable experience. Tawny Cypress, who appeared in the first season, even included her in the group chat, which made Ambrose feel esteemed and like she had officially become a part of the team.

What to Expect from Yellowjackets Season 2
Yellowjackets Season 2 will pick up in the 90s timeline, approximately two months after the untimely death of Jackie (Ella Purnell). With winter in full swing, survival becomes even more challenging as hunting game becomes scarce and the harsh conditions threaten to push some towards the brink.
Jasmin Savoy Brown's character, Taissa, must grapple with her escalating sleepwalking episodes but finds comfort in Van's presence and support as they work together to uncover the root cause.
Meanwhile, in the present day timeline, Lottie resurfaces, this time promoting personal growth and well-being through her wellness center, gaining a new following.
Fans can catch the highly anticipated season premiere of Yellowjackets Season 2 on Showtime Sunday, March 26, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. For those eager to dive in sooner, the first episode is also available for streaming on the Showtime app starting Friday, March 24.
