WWE's Ronda Rousey Teases Mortal Kombat 11 Involvement, Will She Voice Sonya Blade?

She doesn't give a damn about her reputation. That's Ronda Rousey for you. Not only has she dominated UFC but the premiere female athlete has done the same in WWE, where she is currently the Raw Women's Champion. The only thing she hasn't dominated is Hollywood since the fighter's acting chops could use some work.

While Rousey has yet to dominate Hollywood, it looks like the same won't be true for video games as the Raw Women's Champion has been invited to the big Mortal Kombat 11 event. Rousey said this was the invite she's been waiting her life for and promised us, geeks, that "Earthrealm is safe," which seems like a huge indicator that she will be involved with the game.

According to Game Informer, there's a rumor going around that Ronda could be voicing Sonya Blade, one of the more popular characters from the series. Sonya's been around for a long time and was a major character in Mortal Kombat X, so seeing her return here would be great. Basing Ronda Rousey off her would be amazing as well since the fighter definitely has the look and personality for the role.

Considering how impressive Injustice 2 and Mortal Kombat X looked, there's no doubt that Mortal Kombat 11 will be a looker. If her in-game model looks like Ronda Rousey, a lot of fans will be happy.

Mortal Kombat 11 comes out on April 23. The big MK 11 event happens on January 17 on Twitch.
