It's no secret to a lot of fans that WWE has produced some of Hollywood's biggest and brightest crossover stars over the last couple of years in Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Dave Bautista, and John Cena. Just recently, Mercedes Varnado aka Sasha Banks also enjoyed a taste of the Tinseltown spotlight following her Star Wars involvement via The Mandalorian Season 2 and it looks like the trend will continue.

It's long been rumored that another WWE superstar might be on the verge of crossing over to Hollywood and according to reports, it's none other than Becky Lynch. There's been speculation that the former WWE Raw Women's champion has secretly joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a mystery role. In fact, a lot of fans were convinced that the Irish wrestler was spotted on the set of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Now, "The Man" is finally breaking her silence on the hot MCU rumors. Speaking with ComicBook, Lynch denied any involvement in the Black Panther sequel, saying that the woman spotted on set "did not look anything like me".

She'd later tease though that something might be on the table in the future. Becky said: "Maybe there could be something in the future. Maybe, maybe. We don't tell secrets around here. We don't tell Marvel secrets around here."

So far, Lynch only has two acting credits under her belt but that's not to say that she won't be a good fit for the MCU. And considering her meteoric rise in the world of sports entertainment, it wouldn't be shocking if she replicated her WWE fame in Hollywood just like her colleagues.

Meanwhile, Marvel Studios' next feature film offering, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness hits cinemas on May 6, 2022.
