Wonder Woman 84 Footage Description Includes Diana’s Battle With Cheetah

It looks like Marvel fans aren't the only ones having a field day. One of the largest cinematic tradeshows is currently being held at Las Vegas, and according to a number of reports Warner Brothers showed off footage from its upcoming DC Extended Universe movies during its panel, including footage for Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) as well as Wonder Woman 84.

Thanks to ComicBook.com writer Brandon Davis who was present during the event, DC fans get to have a description of what WB presented during its panel. According to the writer, the footage for the Wonder Woman sequel was sprinkled in between other clips in a sizzle reel featuring multiple other DC movies

"Wonder Woman jumps across a street," Davis describes the footage. "Diana is now at her full powers," Wonder Woman 84 director Patty Jenkins voice is heard in the sizzle reel.

"Diana walks in front of the Washington Monument cuddling with Steve Trevor," the writer continues, "She whips her lasso in a mall. Her colleague becomes her nemesis in the form of Cheetah. It ends with a shot of her jetting down a street at super speed."

Kirsten Wiig is playing the villain Barbara Minerva/Cheetah in the film, so this tiny little tidbit lets us know that Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman first works with Cheetah in the film. It's definitely going to be an interesting era for Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman 84 just recently wrapped its principal photography and now Patty Jenkins and her team is working on post-production.

Wonder Woman 1984 premieres June 5, 2020.
