Many fans are hoping that 2019 will be the year that the DCEU rebuilds, with both Shazam and Wonder Woman 2 coming out. We recently got our first look at Zachary Levi in the costume and he ended up looking fine in it. Though there is no image to go with it, the 2018 Licensing Expo revealed that Wonder Woman could also be sporting a new outfit.
According to DanielleEliesen's now deleted Tweets, Warner Bros. showed off concept art for this new costume and Cheetah, although no official images have been shown. When asked by someone about details, Eliesen said Diana's new costume looks like battle gear, which should be interesting to see.
No other details were given but a new costume is interesting to hear about, especially since we saw Diana don her costume from the first film in Justice League. Since this is battle gear, there is a chance that she either keeps it at home or the costume gets destroyed in the sequel. Both are possibilities.
Wonder Woman 2 will supposedly be set in the cold war and will have Diana handling that, as well as Cheetah. Director Patty Jenkins said that the film would start getting into production soon. The film hits theaters on November 1, 2019.
