Wonder Woman 1984 Has Already Been Completed

Wonder Woman 1984 is one of the most anticipated superhero movies coming out next year, giving fans exactly what they want from a sequel to 2017's Wonder Woman, if the first trailer is anything to go by. As we wait for the movie to come out, fans might be shocked to know that the film is in fact complete. We don't just mean filming either as director Patty Jenkins stated that the whole movie has already been completed, six months in advance.

Jenkins told Collider that everything is done, though she is supposedly "fiddling" with the finished product. That's fine since there could always be last-minute changes made to the movie, like fixing a scene or two, or even adding a cameo if needed. Still, this is very good news since a lot of the heavy lifting has been done, with only a small number of changes left to be made.

Here's Jenkins bragging about the film being done, albeit slightly:

"We're done. The movie is done. Because it doesn't come out for a few months, for the first time in my career (which is so great) I was able to say, 'Hey guys, can you let me fiddle with this? Can you let me fiddle with that?' So I'm fiddling but the movie is technically done."

As we wait for the film to come out, there's no doubt that Wonder Woman 1984 has the potential to be really good. It's set in the ‘80s and has some great music, Maxwell Lord and Cheetah will be introduced, Diana has some new armor, the only thing that's worrying is that Steve Trevor has returned.

Wonder Woman 1984 is coming out on June 5, 2020.
