Wolfenstein 3 Update Teased by Bethesda Boss

There is little doubt that gamers are still expecting a new Wolfenstein title. But what are the chances that we'll get a new game anytime soon? Bethesda boss Pete Hines has shared an update on a possible Wolfenstein III.

Fans were undoubtedly expecting an update on Wolfenstein 3 during E3 2021. However, Bethesda's presentation had put the focus on their current title Starfield.

So are we still getting an official sequel to Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus? Hines spoke to GameSpot where he was asked whether a new Wolfenstein title is in the works.

The SVP of Global Marketing and Communications at Bethesda Softworks stated that they are still busy with the Indiana Jones project. However, Hines also pointed out that he is eager to get working on a new Wolfenstein game.

"Where we are for Wolfenstein or quite honestly any other franchise that we don't have announced plans on, we'll have to wait until we get to the point of wanting to talk about it," Hines said. He then added that he is pushing for a new title.

"You can put me at the head of the list of people who want to see another Wolfenstein game, so no worries there," Hines said.

It's not a confirmation but it does give fans hope that Wolfenstein 3 will eventually be announced. Perhaps it will happen in the next year? Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Bethesda's Starfield will be available on Microsoft Windows and Xbox Series X/S on November 11, 2022.
