With Demon Slayer set to continue this year, ufotable will continue to be busy. After revealing the Hashira Training arc’s upcoming theatrical run, ufotable recently revealed a new teaser trailer for Witch on the Holy Night.

This anime film was announced years ago, but the studio has since been quiet regarding new details. With this trailer’s release, Type-Moon fans can rest easy that the studio is still working on this highly anticipated project.

When you ask anime fans about ufotable, chances are that many will think of them as the Demon Slayer studio. This is no surprise given how popular the series has become thanks in large part to the studio’s excellent animation.

Before Demon Slayer though, ufotable was best known as the studio behind the mainline Fate anime series.

Many studios have worked on Fate shows such as the Babylonia anime by CloverWorks and Fate/Apocrypha by A-1 Pictures.

When it comes to the main entries, Type-Moon has partnered with ufotable for these projects. Thus, many fans were excited when the studio revealed that it was working on a Witch on the Holy Night adaptation.

Witch on the Holy Night is a visual novel by Kinoko Nasu that serves as a prequel to Tsukihime. It was released in Japan back in 2012 but was finally launched in English worldwide in 2022.

It may not exactly be connected to the Fate universe, but it is still a story that should delight Fate fans.

Thus, the new teaser is great news for many Nasuverse followers, especially as the studio has been silent for years about it.

New Witch on the Holy Night Teaser Shows Off New Footage

A new teaser trailer for Witch on the Holy Night was finally released by ufotable. It features new clips of the main characters Aoko Aozaki and Alice Kuonji in action.

Sadly, there are no other details shared in the trailer, meaning its release date is still up in the air. Fans can still at least rest easy as the new teaser confirms that the film is in production.

Based on the studio’s previous works, it’s highly likely that ufotable will deliver another anime film with eye-popping visuals when this film is eventually released.

In the meantime, fans can play the visual novel right now on PC as it’s available worldwide in English via Steam.

Plus, ufotable is set to hold another Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc World Tour for the show’s upcoming installment, complete with another US leg.
