It's been close to a month since we learned about Will Poulter's involvement in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 as iconic Marvel Comics character Adam Warlock and while the initial reaction from the Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom has been lukewarm, fans are slowly growing invested in his casting. Turns out, Poulter is here to be a bonafide team player, and this early in the game has already sworn to Marvel's secrecy.

Unsurprisingly, various media outlets have been trying their best to get details from the We're The Millers actor himself but according to him, he's not allowed to say anything and he plans to keep things that way until the time comes where he's free from the studio's "shackles".

Appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show, the Dopesick star hilariously said that he's scared to spill any details about his involvement in the James Gunn-directed threequel. He even jokingly said that he's worried about his family's own safety should he say something that violates Marvel Studios' rules when it comes to secrecy. He said: "Because it's Marvel, I'm kind of sworn to secrecy and I'm actually terrified for the safety of my family lest I say something."

I'm just so glad that after so many years, we're finally getting the long-overdue inclusion of Adam Warlock to the MCU. It'll be interesting though where he factors into the current storyline considering he should've been part of the Infinity Saga. Of course, longtime readers of the comics are well aware that the gold-skinned hero is one of the integral parts of the Infinity story arc, and having him arrive much later to the franchise is an intriguing decision, to say the least.

The MCU's third Guardians of the Galaxy film is scheduled for release on May 5, 2023.
