Han So Hee’s portrayal of Yoon Ji Woo in the popular Netflix series My Name has gained the actress huge praises. Her character in the World of the Married and the recently concluded Kdrama Nevertheless alongside Love Alarm and Sweet Home star Song Kang are a whole lot different from her role in My Name.

Series director Kim Min Jin mentioned how Han So Hee is the perfect actress for the role. This is immediately backed up by fans who witnessed the young woman’s exemplary performance in the action drama.

News of My Name Season 2 has not yet come to light despite the fame that the series has been enjoying ever since its premiere on October 15, 2021.

The final episode of My Name sees the character of Han So Hee escaping from Mujin's building after she had killed him.

As likely as it seems to have another set of twists and turns, Ahn Bo Hyun’s character already left the storyline, and the last scene for episode 6 only sees a close-up shot of Han So Hee's Jiwoo after visiting the grave of the former. Taking note of these, My Name Season 2 might be impossible for now.

However, director Kim Min Jin himself mentioned that the possibility for My Name Season 2 is not up to him. Director Kim said that he had no plans for a second season, and My Name Season 2 depends on writer Kim Ba Da on how she can come up with an exciting turn for the drama.
