Will HBO Max's Madame Xanadu Series Bring Back Swamp Thing's Jeryl Prescott?

There is little doubt that the DC Universe is growing now that a new Madame Xanadu series has been confirmed to be in the works at HBO Max. But is it possible that the upcoming show will bring back someone from a canceled series? Fans are wondering if Jeryl Prescott from Swamp Thing will reprise her role as Nimue in Madame X.

Variety confirms that Professor Marston and the Wonder Women's Angela Robinson is currently writing for the project. She is also set to executive produce along with J.J. Abrams and Ben Stephenson once the series is greenlit. In addition to that, Rachel Rusch Rich will serve as co-executive producer.

For now, the project is in early development and casting has not yet been announced. However, several fans believe that the series should bring Prescott back as the DC comic book character.

For now, it's too early to tell what Abrams and Robinson's plans are for Madame X. However, it would be amazing to see Prescott play Nimue all over again after the unfortunate cancellation of Swamp Thing.

In the comics, Nimue is the sorceress who appears in Arthurian mythology. She is a powerful mystic with ties to major DC characters like John Constantine and Zatanna. Interestingly, Madame X is believed to be tied to Abrams' Justice League Dark project.

What do you think of Madame Xanadu getting her own HBO Max series? Do you agree that Jeryl Prescott should be cast as Nimue in Madame X? Sound off in the comments below.
