Yesterday, Grammy-winning singer and actress Lizzo, her dance captain, and her company Big Grrrl Big Touring were sued over claims of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment by three former dancers.
BBC reported that Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez, the trio who brought the case, alleged that the singer pressured Ms. Davis to do an inappropriate sexual act on another performer in an Amsterdam nightclub.
Some of the other allegations that were made in the case are fat-shaming, religious discrimination, mocking the dancers who engage in premarital sex, and not paying fairly.
So far, Lizzo and her team have not publicly commented on the case, which is yet to be tested in court.
The Mandalorian Fans React to Lizzo's Recent Controversy
A few months ago, Lizzo famously guest-starred in the third season of The Mandalorian where she appeared in the sixth episode as The Duchess of Plazir-15 alongside fellow guest stars such as Jack Black and Christopher Lloyd.
The Grammy winner's guest role in the series was met with mixed reactions since some fans did not like her appearance as it felt out-of-place in the Star Wars universe while there are some who are delighted that she finally showed up in the series after publicly expressing her love for Grogu.
After news came surrounding the lawsuit, fans of the series expressed their disappointment over the guest star's controversy with some even suggesting that Lucasfilm should digitally replace her appearances with a different character.

Considering that this new situation is an ongoing development that will fold in the next couple of weeks, it is hard to tell at the moment whether this lawsuit will affect Lizzo's other works outside the tour.
In the case of her guest role in The Mandalorian, it is unlikely that Lucasfilm will do any digital alteration of her appearance and they'll keep the episode as it is just like any past-released films and TV shows that have on-screen figures who are currently embattled in a controversy.

Depending on how the case will unfold, it is likely that the Grammy winner won't be invited to appear in any Star Wars project again, and potentially her character could get recast with another actress if they want to bring her back.
