Moving is another K-drama that was adapted from a webtoon. If you're new to watching the show, you may wonder why are the superheroes hiding in Moving?

In this explainer article, we'll talk about this topic and who is hunting down our heroes.

Moving is a South Korean series with 20 episodes. The show follows a group of superheroes who have learned to co-exist with ordinary humans.

But instead of letting people know of their powers, our heroes have chosen to stay quiet and away from the limelight.

Most of the characters in Moving have become parents, as they try to teach their kids to control their powers too. After all, their kids have inherited the superpowers of both parents.

It is up to the parents to make sure that their kids stay safe and healthy. Otherwise, all the years they spent in hiding could be for nothing.

The heroes are being hunted down by government agencies that want to exploit the heroes for their own benefit. There's also the agencies that hate superhumans and want to get rid of them once and for all.

And let's not forget all the enemies they've come across over the years. Surely, these enemies would want to get their revenge on the heroes who foiled their plans.

As the heroes fight to survive, they have to use their powers along the way. Not only do they need to keep themselves safe, they must protect their family and friends from getting harmed.

Who Is Killing off These Superheroes?

In the first episode of Moving, we come across a CIA assassin who just lands in Seoul. The assassin, called Frank (played by Ryoo Seung-bum), is on a mission to eradicate the super-people living anonymously in Seoul.

Unfortunately, our heroes aren't as careful in hiding their identities. As Frank lands in South Korea, he heads toward a parking lot where a delivery truck is parked.

He opens the truck and finds a number of envelopes containing the profiles of his targets. Armed with a uniform for the courier company, Frank heads off in pursuit of his first target.

While killing his victims, Frank manages to ask them if they have a child of their own. Since the superheroes have gone into hiding for years, whoever has their profiles were unable to get an update on them.

This explains why Jeon Young-seok (played by Choi Duk-moon) burned the photo of him and his son before getting brutally killed by Frank.

It turns out that Frank's mission came from his superior at the CIA, Mark (played by Daniel C. Kennedy). The CIA agent is hunting down children of superheroes to train them.

Once they are ready, they sell these children off to other countries to strike a deal.

But who is Frank and why is he killing off the other superheroes when he has powers too? It's pretty ironic that someone like him will be killing off his own kind.

As we learn in episode six, however, Frank is actually trained to be an assassin. Frank has flashbacks to the moment that ruined his life forever: when his mom sold him off.

In these flashbacks, we learn more about Frank, who has regenerative powers. After his mom betrays him, he is trained in a remote camp with other children like him.

However, he learns the hard way that no one can be trusted. He kills another child in order to survive. He is among the seven kids who come back alive.

The soldiers tell him his name is now Frank, which explains his huge "F" tattoo on his back. After taking one last look back to the field, Frank heads inside to follow his superiors.

As a side note, has anyone gotten chills at the scene when Frank arrived at the airport? We can't help but compare his appearance (with sunglasses on) to John Wick. But there's no connection between the two.
