Who is Bruno the Pilot in Disney's The Naughty Nine?
Nothing spells Christmas more than Disney. The House of Mouse recently released a new heist movie for kids to enjoy watching with their family for the holidays.
The Naughty Nine tells the story of nine children who didn't get any Christmas presents from Santa Claus this year. Bringing these kids together formed a heist group planning to break into Santa's lair to get their presents.
The official synopsis for Disney's The Naughty Nine reads:
Mischievous fifth grader Andy finds himself without a visit or presents from Santa on Christmas morning. Realizing he must have landed on the 'naughty list' and feeling unfairly maligned, Andy pulls together a team of eight other 'naughty listers' to help him execute an elaborate heist at the North Pole to get the presents they feel they deserve. Along the way, the group comes to realize that the very best way off the naughty list is to redirect their unique talents for good - instead of mischief.
But how could these kids successfully pull off their master plan without on their own? Well, turns out they have adult supervision.

Meet the Not-So-Fearless Pilot Steering the Wheel
Derek Theler plays Bruno, the not-so-fearless pilot of The Naughty Nine.
The American actor and model is most notably known for his roles as Danny Wheeler in the Baby Daddy (2012) series and in the 2015 Christmas movie How Sarah Got Her Wings.
Although Theler has not starred in major Hollywood movies yet, his character, Bruno, has. Kind of. Well, the pilot is in line with the other Bruno-named Disney characters, including the one uncle we don't talk about in the Madrigal family.
Not talking about Bruno has been quite the running gag since Lin-Manuel Miranda's We Don't Talk About Bruno made a breakthrough, and The Naughty Nine is no different.
In Theler's character teaser, Andy asks him if he's the man they call Bruno, to which Theler responds with, "Shh! Don't talk about that."
All the more important is that Bruno the pilot is the key to the nine naughty listers in getting their well-deserved presents for the holidays and we'll get to see much more of Derek Theler in The Naughty Nine now streaming on Disney Plus.
