In The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3, we’re introduced to a new character, Sadeena. But is Sadeena another potential love interest for Naofumi? Who does Sadeena end up with in The Rising of the Shield Hero?
In the second episode, Naofumi, Raphtalia, and Filo are matched against Nadia in an underground tournament.
We later learn that Nadia is actually Sadeena, a demi-human whom Raphtalia was close with. Later on, Sadeena becomes a companion of the Shield Hero.

Is Sadeena in Love With Naofumi?
Sadeena is among the characters that like Naofumi. Sadeena fell in love with Naofumi after seeing that he could drink more alcohol than her.
Sadeena likes to drink, and she once said that her life companion should be someone who can drink more than her. So, she became interested in Naofumi.
Sadeena decides to stay in the village and join Naofumi’s party as she is “head over heels” for Naofumi. Raphtalia’s jealousy becomes clear, and she even asks Naofumi if he had a drinking contest with Sadeena.
However, Naofumi is not interested in Sadeena romantically and rejects her attempts at flirting with him.

Who Does Sadeena End Up With?
It must be noted that The Rising of the Shield Hero has a web novel, light novel, and manga that are different from each other.
In the web novel, Sadeena becomes one of Naofumi’s wives. But in the light novel, which the anime is based on, Sadeena does not end up with Naofumi.
Sadeena likes Naofumi, but she’s aware of Raphtalia’s feelings for him. Sadeena cares for Raphtalia, and this is seen so far in the anime as she acts like an older sister toward her.
Sadeena knows of Naofumi’s plans to return to his world, and she doesn’t want Raphtalia to get heartbroken.
So, she flirts with Naofumi and tries to seduce him so that he cannot give Raphtalia false hope.
In the light novel and the anime, it appears that Naofumi will end up with Raphtalia, and they even talk about marriage in the light novel.
As for Sadeena’s relationship, she’s interested in Naofumi so far, but considering that the light novel is not yet finished, maybe she will find someone else soon.
And hopefully, it's someone who can drink more than her.
