The Big Bang Theory has been a huge hit with audiences since its premiere in 2007.

TBBT was a huge rating hit for its entire twelve-season run, and it continues to draw a substantial audience now that it only airs in reruns. Furthermore, there are no clear indications that the show's popularity may decline in the near future.

Since The Big Bang Theory has been such a hit, it's safe to assume that the majority of the cast members are ecstatic to be a part of it.

Many performers became worldwide famous as a consequence of their TBBT roles, and their careers have continued to grow as a result. Despite the fact that most actors would have delighted to be a part of The Big Bang Theory, one well-known actor regrets his participation in the show.

‘A Piece of S**t’

In 2008, Charlie Sheen appeared as himself on an episode of CBS's The Big Bang Theory, a role that delighted fans but evidently infuriated the actor.

His cameo appearance on The Big Bang Theory happened in Season 2 Episode 4, "The Griffin Equivalency."

The actor stated in 2013 (via The Guardian) that the show was "stupid," "lame," and "about lame people," as well as "a piece of s**t." Sheen then continued on his dislike for the show, claiming that The Big Bang Theory would not have been possible without the success of Two and a Half Men, which he starred in

Where Does this Hate Stem?

When you consider how much Sheen wants to take credit for The Big Bang Theory's success, how much he dislikes the show, and how much he laments not being compensated for it, his statements appear real. That doesn't rule out the possibility that Sheen's views are skewed by his dislike for TBBT creator Chuck Lorre.

Sheen worked closely with Lorre, the show's co-creator and executive producer, during his eight-season stint as the star of Two and a Half Men. Unfortunately for everyone concerned, Sheen has since said unequivocally that he despises Lorre.

In the end, it doesn't matter why Sheen is so angry at Lorre when considering why Charlie may have such a sour taste in his mouth when it comes to The Big Bang Theory. Instead, keep in mind that, in the same interview in which Charlie stated his displeasure with The Big Bang Theory, Sheen went on to say some harsh things about Lorre.

Based on the fact that Charlie Sheen's TBBT remarks were immediately followed by his Lorre rant, it is plausible to believe that they are connected. Of course, Sheen is the only one who can definitively validate that idea, but the evidence is overwhelming.
