Finally, after years of waiting, the staff of Doldam Hospital is back as Dr. Romantic 3 will soon air this April.
Penned by screenwriter Kang Eun Kyung of Where the Stars Land and Gyeongseong Creature, the medical K-drama stars Han Seok Kyu as the legendary doctor also known by his nickname Teacher Kim.
Initially released in 2016, the drama series premiered with three seasons mainly because of the public’s demand for the K-drama to return.
Apart from it, Dr. Romantic was among SBS highest viewership ratings scoring 24.7 as its all-time high for season 1 and 24.4 percent for the show’s second season.
It follows the story of the iconic doctor, Dr. Boo Yong Joo who was once a top-notch surgeon in a city-based hospital, however, he encountered an unexpected incident that almost tainted his name.
Due to this, he chose to go by the name Kim Sa Bu or Teacher Kim to come and work at a shabby hospital in the countryside.
Along with him is a team of dedicated professionals and rookie doctors at Doldam Hospital.
Meet Dr. Romantic 3 Cast
Han Seok Kyu will continue to play the role of Teacher Kim.
For three straight seasons, he portrayed the legendary doctor of Doldam Hospital who captivate viewers with his tough love along with the heartwarming stories of staff and patients.
Along with him are general surgeon Seo Woo Jin and cardiothoracic surgeon Cha Eun Jae, played by Ahn Hyo Seop and Lee Sung Kyung.
Adding to the list of Dr. Romantic 3 cast are Jin Kyung, Kim Min Jae, Im Won Hee, Byun Woo Min, Yoon Na Moo, So Ju Yeon, Shin Dong Wook, Bora, Jung Ji Ahn, and more.
As for, the new characters, Doldam Hospital’s youngest doctor will be played by Lee Shin Young of Crash Landing on You while Lee Hong Nae plays the military doctor.

Where to Watch Dr. Romantic 3 Online?
With exciting still cuts being released by SBS, viewers will get to watch the latest episode of Dr. Romantic 3 on April 21 after wrapping up Taxi Driver 3 starring Lee Je Hoon.
The medical K-drama will have a total of 16 episodes airing every Friday and Saturday.
Viewers will get to watch the latest episode of the medical K-drama through SBS.
Unfortunately, as of this writing, officials are yet to confirm if the series will simultaneously air on streaming sites like Netflix, Viu TV, and more.
However, the past seasons of Dr. Romantic are currently airing through these sites.
