What Is the Demon Rush Anime About?
The Demon Rush dark fantasy anime is made by Jake Mastar aka MaSTAR Media on YouTube. It’s not just an anime though, as Demon Rush is a Kickstarter franchise that features a manga and a trading card game.
Demon Rush’s story features a fight between Heaven and Hell that has lasted over thousands of years. However, the forces of Hell have started to get the advantage, as demons can be recreated from corrupt human souls.
The franchise’s crowdfunding campaign was successful enough that the anime’s first episode was produced. This first episode was released back in March 2022, and it features three popular anime VAs.
Meet the Voice Cast of the Demon Rush Anime
Demon Rush’s most popular voice cast member is no doubt Daisuke Ono. After all, Ono is the voice actor of Jotaro Kujo in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
Ono also voiced Erwin Smith in Attack on Titan and Sebastian in Black Butler.
Also part of the cast is Takashi Kobayashi. While not as prolific as Ono, Kobayashi played roles in Mamoru Hosoda movies, including Mr. Nirasaki in Wolf Children and Tasuke Jinnouchi in Summer Wars.
Finally, the anime stars Naoki Bando, who is best known as the VA of Mycroft Holmes in Undead Girl Murder Farce, Bodoro in Hunter x Hunter, and Minister Brantz in Spy x Family.

Where to Watch the Demon Rush Anime Online
Given that it’s an independently made original anime, the first episode of Demon Rush is available to watch for free on the MaSTAR Media YouTube channel.
The first episode isn’t as long as a typical anime though, as it’s only around seven minutes. Still, it’s an impressive piece of work for an indie production.
It has taken some time, but the Demon Rush anime is getting a second episode this week, and it will also be released on YouTube for free.
