In a world where magical, supernatural, and demonic creatures exist, a young man named Tsugaru Shinuchi is on the verge of being devoured by a demon inside his body.
He is known as the demon killer in his performances, but little do people know that Tsugaru’s body also has demons inside!
Tsugaru was born as a human, but a European man with a cane experimented on him. He was the one who turned Tsugaru into a demon; hence, his death would be at the hands of the same demons that inhabit his body.
One fateful night, Tsugaru encountered a highly skilled maid named Shizuku Hasei, who was holding a very important cage.
They got into a fight, demonstrating how skilled and adept they are at fighting for themselves without knowing what their aims were.
That’s when Tsugaru received some good news, not from Shizuku but from the person who was talking from the cage. Shockingly, there’s a head inside of it, much to Tsugaru’s surprise!
The head introduced herself and said that she was Aya Rindo, an undead, and the master of Shizuku.
Her true aim is to convince Tsugaru to kill her after living for 947 years as an immortal. She even shared how she was decapitated by a demon and how her assailant dragged her body away from her.
Of course, Tsugaru refused to do it after hearing Aya’s side of the story. He wanted Aya to retrieve her body more than to kill her to end her life.
In return, Aya decided to come up with a strange agreement with Tsugaru.
Aya offered to extend Tsugaru's life by giving him some of her saliva. Since Aya is immortal, she can grant Tsugaru another chance in life by kissing and exchanging saliva.
But Tsugaru will also need to accompany Aya as they find her assailant and its master—the same man who experimented on Tsugaru.
