What Is Fate/strange Fake About?
In the realm of a Holy Grail War, Mages, known as Masters, and their Heroic Spirits, called Servants, take part in intense battles.
The true motive of these fierce clashes is to seize control of the Holy Grail – a legendary relic capable of granting any wish imaginable.
After the end of the Fifth Holy Grail War in Japan, several years have passed.
However, foreboding signs now point toward the emergence of a new Holy Grail in the city of Snowfield, in the US.
As anticipated, Masters and Servants start to assemble in this location. However, a particular Servant class remains missing.
Meanwhile, the authenticity of this so-called new Holy Grail is questioned, sparking intense debates.
But amidst all the chaos, the once peaceful city of Snowfield descends into a messy and bloody battleground.
It is becoming increasingly evident that something is amiss.
The peculiar inconsistencies and anomalies suggest the presence of a malevolent puppeteer pulling the strings of this twisted spectacle.
This begs the important question – Does the existence of such manipulation imply the existence of the real Holy Grail itself?

How Many Volumes Does Fate/strange Fake Have?
As of writing, the Fate/strange Fake light novel has received eight volumes, and the series is currently ongoing.
The eighth volume of the Fate/strange Fake light novel was released by Dengeki Bunko and published by Kadokawa in Japanese on February 10, 2023.
Meanwhile, the Fate/strange Fake manga series, published by Type-Moon Books, has so far gotten five volumes.
The fifth volume of the manga was released on February 10, 2022.
The story first emerged on Narita’s homepage on April 1, 2008, masquerading as Fake/states night as an April Fools’ prank.
Though the text was initially removed after the prank, it resurfaced as a novel in 2009.
The series found its new home within the pages of TYPE-MOON Ace 2 magazine, adored with illustrations by Shizuki.
Later, in 2014, it was announced that the story would get a light novel and manga series titled Fate/strange Fake.

Unfortunately, there is no way to read the Fate/strange Fake light novels and manga online legally.
Moreover, there are no official English translations of the Fate/strange Fake light novel and manga, as of writing.
The only way to read the series is by buying its physical copies in Japanese.
