After 4 seasons, DC’s Titans is coming to an end. The fourth and final season will consist of 12 episodes, broken into two parts. The first 6 episodes of the fourth season premiered on HBO Max from November to December last year.

So, when is Part 2 coming out? DC’s Titans Season 4 Part 2 is coming out on Thursday, April 13, followed by weekly releases running through May 11.

The final episodes, which will start with a two-episode premiere, follow the Titans and their mission to stop Trigon’s cult (the Organization), specifically May Bennett/Mother Mayhem and now Sebastian Sanger/Brother Blood.

The trailer features new looks such as Tim Drake as the new Robin, following his resurrection in the final episodes of Season 3. We also see him training with the former Robin, Jason Todd. The trailer also shows more of Connor Kent/Superboy’s darker side (his Lex Luthor side), with the character claiming that the Titans are not his friends. The villain Brother Blood is also teased, whose transformation was made complete.

As Sebastian Sanger is predicted to cause destruction in the world, the Titans devise a plan to stop the Blood Moon ritual. Connor channels his Lex Luthor side, using LexCorp's satellites to reflect the sunlight into the moon. This temporarily prevented the ritual from taking place.

However, he noticed a hacking attempt on LexCorp’s servers, which gives him knowledge of Bennett’s location. Conner goes alone to face off with Bennett but is quickly defeated. Jinx, Rachel, and Kory conducted a ritual to locate Sanger in order to teleport him back to S.T.A.R. Labs, but they find Conner captured. The Titans then decided to enter the cult's hideout to rescue both Conner and Sanger.

Bennett used Sanger's memories to manipulate him into willingly performing the ritual, but the Titans disrupt the process. They managed to break the crystal containing Rachel’s energy, which then turned her into the White Raven. Sanger completed the ritual and screamed. Gar then asked to be taken to “the Red”, and the entire team vanished.

Will There Be a Season 5 of DC’s Titans?

Sadly, no. Titans‘ fourth season will be the last. HBO Max announced the show’s cancellation along with Doom Patrol. The two series join the cancellation of other DC shows such as Batwoman and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

The large number of canceled DC shows and movies reportedly has something to do with the Warner Bros./Discovery merger. Warner Bros. Discovery intends to build a DC Cinematic Universe just like Marvel Studios’ Cinematic Universe where there is only one universe for their movies and television shows. This then led to the creation of DC Studios and the appointment of James Gunn and Peter Safran as co-chairmen and CEOs.

Unfortunately, Titans is one of the DC shows that didn’t make it to the new plans of DC. For now, you can watch the trailer for Titans Season 4 Part 2 below:

The official synopsis of Season 4 Part 2 as provided by HBO Max:

In the mid-season premiere, the Titans - with the exception of Gar - are returned to the place they had vanished, the Temple of Trigon, only to find Sebastian and Mother Mayhem are no longer there. The Titans rush to find them before Sebastian summons Trigon, their pursuit leading them to a mysterious town whose populace is hiding a deep secret. Along the way, the Titans come across a prophecy that may require Kory to make a huge sacrifice to save the world, but Dick's feelings for Kory surface and he refuses to let her die. In the final episodes, the Titans enter into an epic battle to save both Kory and the world. Gar goes on a quest of self-discovery, attempting to find his true purpose and to save his friends. Rachel embraces darker powers while Conner, struggling with his Lex Luthor side, goes his own way to defeat Sebastian. Tim and Bernard’s growing feelings for each other become increasingly difficult to resist, and when Bernard’s life is threatened, Tim finally becomes the hero he has always strived to be.

Titans Season 4 Part 2 is available to stream on HBO Max on April 13, 2023.
