What Parks and Rec Star Nick Offerman Could Look Like as MODOK

Before he was playing Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy, Chris Pratt was loveable idiot Andy Dwyer in Parks and Recreation. With rumors going around that the MCU is planning on introducing MODOK, artist BossLogic has found the perfect star for the part and he's also from Parks and Rec.

Check out Nick Offerman (Ron Swanson) as the Mechanized Organism Designed Only for Killing:

It doesn't really feel like a ‘serious' mock-up, but you have to admit that Offerman kind of looks the part, especially since his face is already naturally square. When it comes to playing MODOK though, I think the part would work better for someone who can sound more maniacal and high pitched. Offerman usually plays more serious and stern characters—not unlike Ron Swanson.

If you ask me, they should have cast Offerman as the Red Guardian for Black Widow instead, but I also like David Harbour for the part, and I can't wait to see him be the Russian version of Captain America. As for Offerman, I don't really have a specific MCU role for him in mind, but if the third Spider-Man movie will tackle a multi-verse as rumored, I would love to see him play an alternate version of Daily Bugle editor J. Jonah Jameson. I think he would also be a great Dum Dum Dugan.

For now, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is on hiatus, and the movies will be coming back to theaters in May 2021. In the meantime, Phase 4 is still set to launch with the premiere of WandaVision on Disney+ which is expected to launch before the year ends.
