Westworld Season 3 Will Be Less Convoluted And Much Easier To Follow

Westworld might be one of HBO's strongest series, but the second season of the series has often been criticized for its convoluted storyline.

Now, Westworld showrunner Jonathan Nolan promises that the series' third batch of episodes is going to be much easier to follow compared to the other seasons of the series.

Speaking in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, series creator Jonathan Nolan talks about the status of the third season of Westworld, confirming that the story is going to pick up quite shortly after where season 2 ends.

Not only that, but the showrunner also tells fans that the story is going to be much easier to follow compared to the last season of the series – a promise that might give fans quite the relief. There was a lot of confusion in the way Westworld's season 2 story was told. A whole lot of fans ended up complaining that they didn't quite understand what was going on.

"This is season is a little less of a guessing game and more of an experience with the hosts finally getting to meet their makers... I love shows that find a groove and hang with it for 100 episodes — that was never this show," Nolan said, "We always wanted every season to find our characters in radically different circumstances. And with a cast this talented, watching the metamorphosis of all these characters is one of the most fun parts."

While most enjoy the mystery that surrounds the series, fans would probably appreciate Westworld if it gave a more straightforward story. Let's see if Nolan and his team can really achieve that without really sacrificing the series' complexity.

Westworld season 3 has yet to receive a release date, but we're hoping that we'll know more at the series' panel at this year's San Diego Comic-Con.
