WB has Launched an Investigation on the ‘Toxic’ and ‘Abusive’ Set of the Justice League Reshoots

Back when Zack Snyder's Justice League was announced, Cyborg actor Ray Fisher has come out to condemn Joss Whedon for abusive behavior on the set of the JL reshoots and even called out producers Jon Berg and Goeff Johns for enabling him. Though Fisher can only be limited in his accusations because of an NDA, he's announced on Twitter that WB has decided to launch an investigation to see how true all of these allegations are.

We don't have any details on what exactly happened on set besides what Fisher has been saying, but word is coming out that Whedon had allegedly acted unprofessional on the set, trashing everything that Snyder had been working in front of the crew. What's more, Johns was said to have threatened Fisher's career when Fisher tried to approach him about his concerns.

Things are starting to unravel when it comes to the Justice League. The movie was already pretty badly received when it came out, and word had it that WB was already messing with the film behind-the-scenes. Now with the news of Whedon being abusive and the producers enabling him, everyone wants to find out exactly what happened and how it lead to the DCEU's lowest point.

While I'm suspecting that DC FanDome is going to focus more on the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League, I'm hoping Fisher posts up more details on the same day. I think it's good to know what went down so future productions can avoid toxic environments like Fisher had described.

DC FanDome takes place on Aug. 22. Zack Snyder's Justice League is set to hit HBO Max sometime in 2021.
