Watch The First Good Omens Trailer With David Tennant And Michael Sheen

Welcome to the End Times. The first official trailer for Good Omens has finally been released and it looks like the demon Crowley (David Tennant) has a complete misunderstanding of his relationship with the angel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen).

The trailer opens with a montage of footage including Eve biting into an apple, a cute dog, a UFO hovering over a small car, a battlefield, and a group of nuns. This is when Aziraphale gets a call from Crowley to discuss Armageddon.

The meeting is clearly uncomfortable for the angel who balks when the demon asks him how long they have been friends. "We're not friends," Aziraphale says. "We're on opposite sides!" Crowley, however, reveals the truth. "We're on our side."

The impending Apocalypse isn't something to be excited about. As Crowley points out, there would be "no more fascinating little restaurants or old little bookshops." The statement helps Aziraphale decide to work with the demon to stop Armageddon.

The teaser only offers a glimpse at what will happen in Good Omens. There's a brief shot of the book The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch as well as Crowley receiving a mysterious basket. Nevertheless, we can see that the Amazon series is going to be pretty close to the novel by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.

The trailer was revealed at the Good Omens panel at the New York Comic-Con. Needless to say, it has people excited for the premiere of the series.

Good Omens also stars Jon Hamm, Miranda Richardson, Derek Jacobi, Frances McDormand, Mark Gatiss, Steve Pemberton, and Nick Offerman.

The Good Omens air date has not yet been announced. Nevertheless, the series will premiere on Amazon Prime and BBC Two in 2019.
