Watch Ryan Reynolds Play the Deadpool Video Game

Ryan Reynolds may have played Deadpool but he's never played Deadpool, the video game. Until now at least. Somehow, someway, YouTube personality jacksepticeye was able to bring Ryan Reynolds into one of his videos so that he can play the video game starring the character he portrayed in this week's Deadpool 2.

The video is actually worth watching just to hear about Reynold's video game experiences and some of his comments about the title. Apparently, the last game he played is Castlevania for the NES back in 1986, so a long time ago.

Still, he does show some knowledge about the game, recognizing and praising voice actor Nolan North, who voices the Merc in the Mouth in the game. North also portrayed Deadpool in the Hulk vs Wolverine animated film and Marvel vs Capcom 3. The voice actor did a great job voicing the character and it's a shame we haven't heard him do Deadpool since.

For those who haven't played it, the Deadpool video game from Activision and High Moon is a solid action-adventure game that doesn't really do anything new. Comic book fans will enjoy the various references and characters that appear, including Death, Cable, Rogue, Domino, Psylocke, and Wolverine.

Deadpool 2 hits theaters this week, on May 18. The Deadpool video game is available now on PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
