Watch Highlights From Bocchi the Rock! Stage Play’s Dress Rehearsal

For fans who are curious about what the Bocchi cast will look like in real life, the Bocchi the Rock! stage play has finally started its run, and a special dress rehearsal video has been shared for fans even outside Japan to enjoy.

The stage play is now running in Tokyo until next week, though before the play’s run began, a dress rehearsal was opened to members of the Japanese press.

Aside from showing off some live musical performances, the play’s dress rehearsal also highlighted the other cast members.

Bocchi the Rock! Stage Play Showcases Hiroi, Seika, and More Supporting Cast

Over the past month, the Bocchi the Rock! stage play ramped up its promotion with teaser visuals, images, and clips of the four Kessoku Band members.

Now, to further highlight the production’s official start, new images of other cast members in full outfits were shared. These include Misato Kawachi as Seika, Rei Tsukikawa as Hiroi, and Haruna Hori as PA-san.

These three were featured on the stage play’s official Twitter account which shared images of the three actresses on stage.

As a further treat for fans, the actresses also began sharing some behind-the-scenes photos on their personal Twitter accounts.

Similar to other anime stage adaptations such as the Spy x Family musical, these characters are styled exactly like their anime counterparts.

Thanks to this, fans were delighted to see the images, especially for those who can’t watch during the stage play’s dates.

Bocchi the Rock! Stage Play Dress Rehearsal Features Major Highlights

Given the play’s limited run and the fact that it will only be held in Tokyo, many Bocchi fans will no doubt miss out on watching it live. Though fans have gotten the next best thing, which is clips of the dress rehearsal.

Following the show’s opening day, Oricon shared a video featuring the highlights of the dress rehearsal, including snippets of the live musical performances from the Kessoku Band.

On top of this, the play’s official Twitter account also shared new images of the four main cast members in full costume.

The Bocchi the Rock! stage play is being performed now until August 20 at the THEATER MILANO-Za in Tokyo. For now, there’s no word yet on future show dates.

Based on other anime stage adaptations with limited runs, like the Lycoris Recoil play, this live stage may get a Blu-ray release in the future.
