Watch Avengers: Endgame Stars Chris Hemsworth And Scarlett Johansson Try To Insult Each Other

There is little doubt that Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johansson are good friends after working on several Marvel Cinematic Universe films including Avengers: Endgame. But do they have what it takes to insult each other just for fun? As it turns out, the real Thor and Black Widow have a lot to say about each other's behind-the-scenes behavior.

Hemsworth and Johansson recently took part in BBC 1 Radio's ongoing segment Playground Insults. The two were instructed not to take the insults seriously and to try to make the other laugh with the worst insults they could come up with.

Johansson immediately told Hemsworth that he's ugly, something that he gracefully accepted. He responds by telling her that they say beauty is on the inside and that what she has inside is "awful."

Not to be outdone, Johansson decided to pick on Hemsworth's "growing collection of grandma cardigans" and called him "a walking Ann Taylor ad."

Hemsworth, who was clearly running out of things to say, suggested that Johansson had "nothing up here" as he pointed to his head. Not surprisingly, she didn't like that but they quickly moved to Hemsworth reportedly taking too long in the makeup chair. Hemsworth countered by revealing Johansson was often late on the set and asked if she would like a watch for her birthday. At this point, Johansson just loses it and expresses her love for Hemsworth's biceps.

In the end, the insults were decidedly lame and one of the hosts declared it the "politest game ever." Johansson immediately pointed out that they were "two kind people who only talk s--t behind each other's back."

The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:

"The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios' grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame."

Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26.
