It looks like there'll be even fewer ads in this year's Super Bowl.

The Super Bowl has been a medium for several brands and studios to release unique advertisements and new trailers. While the price of these Super Bowl ads continues to rise, it also seems to show a decrease in brands to join the massive marketing event. There's a number of movie teasers to be featured, but it looks like two of these movie studios will be sitting out this year.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros and Sony won't be releasing Super Bowl ads this time around. This means that there won't be new trailers for the highly-anticipated projects, such as Wonder Woman 1984, Venom 2, Morbius, Bloodshot, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Tenet, and the like.

The outlet points out that some brands are deciding to sit out from the event because of the high price of airing an ad. This year, a 30-second spot to air during the big game will cost $5.6 million, which is quite an increase from the $5.2 million last year.

While the said companies are sitting out this year, the outlet claims Disney and Universal are expected to air some spots in the event. Since Disney aired teasers for Avengers: Endgame and Toy Story 4 last year, it is likely that the House of Mouse will release a teaser for Black Widow and Mulan. While Universal is likely to release a teaser for Fast & Furious 9.

The Super Bowl coverage will be on FOX, which will take place on February 2.
