War Machine Mocks Ant-Man in New Avengers: Endgame TV Spot

Avengers: Endgame is 10 days away, and Marvel Studios is being careful when it comes to marketing for the movie. We've been getting some regular TV spots for the film with new footage here and there, and a new one has War Machine making fun of ‘Regular-Sized-Man'.

I'll admit, the bit looks like something that was shot for a commercial, but I wouldn't put it past Marvel to still add some jokes here and there despite the stakes of Endgame. I don't know why, but it kind of feels like the team-up we should've gotten with Ant-Man was with the Falcon, seeing that the two have a history with Falcon making a cameo in Ant-Man as well as Sam recruiting Scott for Team Cap in Civil War.

With the Russo Brothers' history with television, I wouldn't doubt that they have a good knack in making these characters interact with one another. I guess if there was someone I was most excited to see in the movie, it would be Rocket Raccoon. With the Guardians films, he's usually one of the smartest people in the room, but with Endgame, he's come out as the fish out of water among all the "Earthers". No wonder he's going to find some kind of connection with Nebula when it comes to this movie.

Adrift in space with no food or water, Tony Stark sends a message to Pepper Potts as his oxygen supply starts to dwindle. Meanwhile, the remaining Avengers -- Thor, Black Widow, Captain America, and Bruce Banner -- must figure out a way to bring back their vanquished allies for an epic showdown with Thanos -- the evil demigod who decimated the planet and the universe.

Catch Avengers: Endgame in theaters April 26.
