WandaVision Audition Clip Teases Aaron Taylor-Johnson's Return as Quicksilver

It's been several years since Quicksilver sacrificed himself to save Hawkeye and a little boy in Avengers: Age of Ultron. However, it looks like Pietro Maximoff might be set for a major comeback in the future. A new audition clip from WandaVision may have confirmed that Aaron Taylor-Johnson will reprise his role in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe series.

The audition clip was posted on Vimeo and features a young actor named Nick Fisher auditioning for the role of a little boy named "Tim". In the video, Tim mentions his brother and claims he's going as "the cool twin" before calling his brother "a dorkasaurus rex." It's an adorable audition but it also mentions that the boys' uncle is sleeping on the couch.

It's an interesting detail considering that the twin boys are undoubtedly Wanda Maximoff and Vision's sons Billy Kaplan and Tommy Shepherd. If WandaVision will feature the younger versions of Wiccan and Speed, then there is a huge possibility that the uncle sleeping on the couch is none other than Quicksilver. The speedster's return shouldn't be a huge surprise since Wanda is capable of warping reality.

For now, it is unclear if Taylor-Johnson will be back to play Quicksilver or if the character will be recast for the show. Nevertheless, we're already hoping to see more of Pietro in the MCU.

WandaVision has not yet been given an official release date. However, the new Marvel series is already expected to air on Disney+ in late 2020.
