Former Juggernaut actor Vinnie Jones revealed that he turned down the opportunity to make a cameo appearance in Deadpool and Wolverine.

The footballer-turned-actor played the fan-favorite character in 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand. However, he didn't reprise the role again in other projects while the character made another appearance in Deadpool 2.

There have been rumors for a while that the upcoming MCU film will feature several cameo appearances from actors who starred in the original X-Men movies.

Speaking recently with Yahoo UK, Jones opened up about rejecting the offer to reprise the role of Juggernaut in Deadpool and Wolverine.

He cited the difficulty of the costume as the key factor surrounding his decision to not play the X-Men character again in the MCU film.

"Funnily enough, I just got asked to do Deadpool, the new one now, and I spoke to the director and I just said it's such a drama putting that suit on mentally and physically," Jones said.

"I mean it had its mental toll as well because you're in it and you can't do anything all day, you can only drink through a straw. So we couldn't strike the deal for Deadpool."

The actor added, "Deadpool's my favorite movie of all f****** time more or less. I really wanted to do it, but they didn't have the budget to put me in the suit."

With so many actors that are rumored or expected to appear in the MCU film, we can now count out Jones among the list and it is likely an indication that we won't be seeing Juggernaut in some capacity.

Fans should still not worry about any potential missing big names in the list of cameos as Karan Soni, who plays Dopinder, recently hinted about the many actors that were recruited to show up in the film.

"There are a lot of surprises. Let’s just say a lot of people traveled to London," he told Variety.

Deadpool and Wolverine is set to arrive in theaters this July 26.
