Vincent D’Onofrio Is Still Hoping For A Kingpin Appearance In A Spider-Man Movie In The MCU

Marvel TV and Marvel Studios might have kept their various films an series separate from one another, but Daredevil's Kingpin star Vincent D'Onofrio won't rule out the possibility of Wilson Fisk making an appearance in future Spider-Man movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

D'Onofrio is making his way to the third season of Daredevil later this month, and while some are more than excited to see the actor return, others feel a bit heartbroken knowing that Kingpin will never make his way to the MCU. Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) might share the same imaginary space as the Avengers, however, because of issues between Marvel TV and Marvel Studios, crossovers seem very, very unlikely.

After seeing the new Daredevil season 3 trailer putting the spotlight on Wilson Fisk, a fan expressed disappointment in the fact that we probably will never see Kingpin in the MCU. Taking notice of the post, D'Onofrio replied with a simple "Who says?" a statement suggesting that there might still be a chance that the actor could make his way to the big screen.

Of course, fans shouldn't take this response as official confirmation that Fisk is going to appear in a future Spider-Man movie or that he's going to appear in Far From Home. D'Onofrio could simply be expressing his hope that he might be able to pop up in the MCU. Or he's probably just expressing interest in making his way to the big screen. It wouldn't hurt trying to make an open plea to the Universe, would it?

Daredevil season 3 premieres on October 19, 2018.
