While there will be some characters returning in James Gunn's The Suicide Squad, we're getting a whole lot of new faces in the film from Polka-Dot Man to Weasel. While the Sneak Peek at DC FanDome gave us a good look at the BTS of the film, Mr. Sunday Movies on Youtube has given us a breakdown of every new character coming our way in The Suicide Squad.

While a lot of people were expected Idris Elba to play Bronze Tiger in the film, he's apparently going to be someone named Bloodsport. In the comics, he was someone who was able to shoot Superman with a Kryptonite bullet. We don't know if he'll be Superman-related in the film, but it would be interesting to see some villains who clashed with heroes other than Batman.
Besides that, it looks like we're going to get two Ratcatchers in the movie, and there's going to be a scene depicting both of them together as a father/daughter duo. We don't really know what her role in the Squad is, but I have a feeling Daniela Melchior is going to make it out of this one alive.
Personally, I'm really excited to see what Polka-Dot Man has to bring to the table. The character just looks so out of place and silly, I think Gunn has something special planned for him. Maybe they can spend the entire film busting his balls and by the end, he actually becomes the big hero. That's just my guess, but Gunn did say he had a liking to the character.
The movie looks interesting, and I can't wait for the first official teaser. Catch The Suicide Squad hits theaters Aug. 6, 2021.
