Venom Will Have Two Post-Credit Scenes

Venom is coming out later this week and fans are definitely curious about it. While the trailer did show some great special effects, it also had some of the most cringe-worthy lines ever seen in a modern day comic book movie. Everyone is hoping for the movie to be good, PG-13 restrictions and all, but those that are planning to stay behind are in for a treat.

According to Screen Rant, some of the press screenings have finished showing already and some fans were able to confirm that the movie has two post-credit sequences. Unlike a typical MCU movie, however, both sequences are at the very end so fans will probably need some popcorn or drinks as they wait through the credits.

No descriptions were given for these scenes so we'll have to wait for the movie to come out before anything is revealed. Expect some sort of sequel bait that will either include Carnage, Kraven the Hunter, or Morbius the Living Vampire, the latter of whom will be played by Jared Leto.

In an MCU installment, the post-credit scenes are usually put in the middle of credits and then at the end. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 bucked that trend by having multiple post-credit scenes, though only two of them were worth staying for.

Seeing Sony copy Marvel like this isn't exactly shocking since post-credit scenes seem to be needed for all cinematic universes these days. DC only did this a few times, while Universal's Dark Universe wasn't even able to let one out, which is fine when you consider how bad The Mummy was. It will be interesting to see if Bumblebee and Bloodshot copy this trend.

Venom comes out on October 5.
