The premiere of Venom is only three weeks away and Tom Hardy is clearly excited for his new film. The Revenant star has just unveiled an awesome new IMAX poster for the Sony flick.
Hardy has just shared the image on his official Instagram account. It's an amazing poster which features the antihero looking more like his comic book counterpart. Check out Hardy's post below.
The poster certainly captures the true essence of Venom with larger white eyes and those red hinges in the symbiote's jaws. Hopefully, this means that the film will feature a more comic book-accurate version than what was originally shown in the trailers.
Venom has been confirmed for a PG-13 rating, which is somehow disappointing for fans who were expecting the movie to have enough violence to earn an R-rating. Nevertheless, we can still look forward to strong language and awesome action from the Marvel character's standalone film.
The movie is set to introduce at least two more symbiotes other than Venom. The trailers have already revealed that Carlton Drake (Riz Ahmed) will bond with the symbiote known as Riot. In addition to that, the female symbiote Scream is expected to make an appearance as it bonds with an unnamed character.
Venom is directed by Zombieland's Ruben Fleischer and will also star Michelle Williams (The Greatest Showman), Jenny Slate (Parks and Recreation), Woody Harrelson (Solo: A Star Wars Story), and Scott Haze (Child of God).
