Venom Star Tom Hardy Shared Awkward BTS Fight Scene

We're still waiting for the first images or trailer from Venom 2 but it looks like Tom Hardy wants to keep fans hyped for the sequel. The Dunkirk actor just shared a behind-the-scenes video depicting his fight sequence with Riz Ahmed and it's more than a little awkward.

Hardy posted the video on his official Instagram account along with a hilarious caption. Check it out below.

"Not remotely awkward BTS snippet recorded by Kelly Marcel Venom 1 physical theatre 101," Hardy wrote.

It might look hilarious without all the special effects but this is the awesome fight sequence between Eddie Brock and Carlton Drake that also featured the symbiote Venom and Riot, respectively. In the theatrical cut, the symbiotes are tearing at each other while Eddie and Drake themselves are also trying to land some blows. It all turned out wonderfully, but it's still awesome to see how the scene was shot in the first place.

But could this be a tease at Riot's return in Venom 2? Unfortunately, both Drake and the symbiote were killed in the first film. Nevertheless, we can expect to see more action in the sequel considering that it has already been confirmed that Woody Harrelson will return as Cletus Kasady, the same guy who bonds with Carnage.

Venom 2 is one of the few upcoming movies that has not been affected by the Coronavirus outbreak. The sequel, which is directed by Andy Serkis, is still scheduled for release on October 2.
