Venom Star Michelle Williams Addresses Possible She-Venom Transformation

How many symbiotes can we expect in the upcoming Venom film? We already know that Riot will make an appearance and there's a possibility that Scream will show up as well. But what are the chances that we'll see Anne Weying turning into She-Venom? Michelle Williams has spoken up about the Marvel comic book character's possible transformation.

Venom has already changed a lot about Anne Weying. Although the character is Eddie Brock's ex-wife in the comic books, the film has changed her into a district attorney who is dating Tom Hardy's character. It has yet to be confirmed whether Anne will be bonding with a symbiote in the highly anticipated flick. Nevertheless, Williams admitted to Total Film Magazine (via CBR) that she is open to seeing her character's other persona. "She-Venom would be a dream come true!" she says.

Williams also revealed that she accepted the role in Venom for the opportunity to work with Hardy. However, she was also drawn to her comic book character.

"I think Anne is a strong character, and very intelligent," Williams said. "I wanted her to be born of the #MeToo world, and I worked hard to convey that with her wardrobe and dialogue."

Director Ruben Fleischer speaks highly of Williams' performance in the film. "She just brings to much empathy to her characters and especially within the dynamic between Anne and Eddie in our film. She grounds it so much," he said.

They are pretty secretive about what will happen in the film but we still can't help but wonder if She-Venom will have a small appearance somewhere. Besides, if Williams is open to the idea, we might see Anne bonding with a symbiote in one of the other movies in the Venom trilogy.

Venom will premiere on October 5.
