Riot Games recently released VALORANT patch 3.03, and leakers have already datamined a variety of interesting details from the latest update, including a leak about a highly-anticipated feature, and it looks like it's coming soon.
According to a well-known VALORANT leaker, Valor Leaks, in-game tournaments will finally be added to the tactical FPS after months of fan demand. So far, Riot hasn't announced any details on when they will launch the new feature, but the next major update is expected to come with Episode 3 Act 2 weeks from now, so there's a good chance the new feature will be added around that time.
Over on Twitter, the leaker shared the description found in the files discovered: "Compete in a high stakes tournament mode against other teams to earn super cool prizes," Valor Leaks shared. "Tournaments are every other weekend with timetables listed below. Get started by verifying your identity and then creating or joining a team!"
According to the files, players will also be able to create a team, then you can invite other players after they're "verified". If you don't have any friends who play VALORANT, you can join and list yourself as a "free agent" in the "scouting board". Finally, there's a mention of the "Tournament Shop".

Tournaments should definitely encourage players to team-up with their friends, and compete against other teams for the chance to win prizes, and it's exciting to see how the community will enjoy this feature. Hopefully, Riot will add the replay feature in VALORANT soon.
