Cloud9 Valorant pro Tyson "Tenz" Ngo has shared his thoughts about Icebox, the new map in Riot's tactical shooter. He said that it's his favorite map.
Last month, Tenz and his Cloud9 teammate Daniel "vice" Kim shared their opinions about Icebox, They pointed out how the map has a lot of angles and spots to deploy turrets and other traps, as well as sniping areas, making the arena favor the defensive side. The Cloud9 pros also mentioned that there are a lot of narrow choke points for a map this big.
Although many players criticized Icebox for having many angles and narrow chokepoints, players who mainly use Jett and Omen would enjoy playing this map because it has a lot more verticality compared to other maps in Valorant, so it's not surprising to hear Tenz say that Icebox is his favorite map. I also love this map, and I think players just need more time to get used to it.
