What Is the Undead Unluck Anime About?
Undead Unluck is the story of two strange individuals who are brought together by fate. Following the end of her favorite manga, Fuuko Izumo is ready to end her life.
She has suffered from a strange condition that causes severe misfortune to those who come into contact with her, leading to tragic consequences for her loved ones, including her parents’ tragic death.
But Fuuko meets a mysterious man who cannot die. He can regenerate and come back to life.
He hopes to discover a method to leverage Fuuko’s misfortune as a means to ultimately bring about his death.
Now, this weird duo joins forces to accomplish missions assigned by the Book of Revelations.
However, if they or any of their fellow negators fail in their missions, humanity may have to pay a high price for their mistakes.

What Is Undead Unluck's Episode Count?
The official episode count of Undead Unluck is confirmed to be 24 episodes. This announcement came along with the reveal of the anime's Blu-ray/DVD.
The Blu-ray/DVD of Undead Unluck will be released in two box sets. Box 1 of the set will include Episodes 1 through 14 and is scheduled to hit the shelves on March 27, 2024.
Meanwhile, the second box set, which is set to release on June 26, 2024, will have Episodes 15 through 24.
When Do New Episodes of Undead Unluck Get Released?
The world premiere of Undead Unluck was held on October 1, 2023, at Shinjuku Piccadilly in Tokyo. Then, the Undead Unluck anime started airing on October 6, 2023 in Japan.
The Undead Unluck anime is currently streaming on Hulu outside of Japan.
Undead Unluck is directed by Yuki Yase (Fire Force) and is based on the original manga created by Yoshifumi Tozuka.
Hideyuki Morioka (Neon Genesis Evangelion) is credited for character design while Keito Watanabe (Sword Art Online: Alicization) is the art director of the series. Undead Unluck is animated by David Production.
The opening theme of Undead Unluck is titled 01 and is performed by Ziyoou-vachi. The ending theme, titled know me…, is performed by Kairi Yagi.
