Several UFO shows on the History Channel have delved deep into the secret history of UFOs, and one of the things they discuss is how the Nazis were experimenting with space travel and UFOs, but of course, they never achieved space travel.

However, toy and models manufacturer Revell released a set in Germany that makes it look like a Nazi flying saucer actually worked. The UFO toy was described as a war machine in the Nazi period, and now Revell has announced that it will stop producing the toy for its inaccurate representation of history.

The product description says that it's a "round aircraft" and "the first object in the world capable of flying in space." The description went on to say that the flying saucer can fly "up to speeds of 6,000 km/hr" and it wasn't produced after its test phase in 1943 due to the Second World War.

According to the German Children's Protection Association (DKSB) and the Military History Museum (MHM) (via The Local), the product is portrayed as a war machine from the period of the Nazi regime even though this flying saucer never existed.

Historian Jens Wehner from the MHM told Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) newspaper: "At that time it was technologically impossible to build something like this."

Since Revell's product didn't actually mention that the flying saucer never existed might cause many to buy the product for believing that the Nazis created a superior high-tech aircraft.

"Enthusiasts can use this as a strategy to cast doubt on what we know today about National Socialism," the historian added.

Revell agrees with MHM, saying in a statement: "it is in fact a legendary, extraordinary aircraft which cannot be proven in terms of its existence."

Unfortunately, our product description does not adequately express this and we apologize for it," Revell added.
