Twenty Five Twenty One Episode 6 sees Yi-jin bringing his mother to the nearest computer rental shop so they can talk to his father. Although Yi-jin’s parents divorced on paper, the two still held onto their love and promised that they would return in each other’s arms as soon as everything got better.
In the middle of his quality time with his mother, Yi-jin realized that he had to stop running away. He decided to return to Seoul, and come months after, he became a trainee reporter under the UBS network.
All those months, Yi-jin managed to get back on his feet with the help of Hee-do’s encouragement. Hee-do also held onto Yi-jin’s promise to return as soon as possible and continued working hard on her dreams while cheering on Yi-jin’s future endeavors.
On the other hand, tension runs high between Hee-do and Yu-rim, especially now that they are roommates. Yu-rim is still insecure with Hee-do’s potential that she still treats her invisibly. This relationship between the idol and the fan got in a wrong turn when they both lost their patience and got in a fight.
One morning, as Yi-jin was accompanying his senior reporter, he saw a familiar face in the crowd. He immediately checks if it was the person he expects, and while in the middle of the bustling crowd of protesters, Yi-jin heard Hee-do’s voice calling for him.
Hee-do brings Yi-jin with her as she meets someone for lunch. It turns out that Hee-do is in a 3-day relationship with a fellow fencer. Seeing this had Yi-jin laugh in disbelief, especially with the unusual sight of Hee-do sharing a lovey-dovey atmosphere with her boyfriend.
Twenty Five Twenty One Episode 6 also highlights Yi-jin doing great as a field reporter covering the Asian Games. He gets tasked to focus on the fencing meet, keeping track of Hee-do’s matches.
However, an unfortunate event happens right before Hee-do’s match with Yu-rim for the gold medal. She checks her bag and discovers that her cherished fencing sword is with a different athlete.
Hee-do hops on the train to Seoul and successfully reclaimed her things. However, the train back to Gyeongju experienced a couple of delays which had her stuck on the rails for almost an hour.
Thankfully, Yi-jin was on his way to fetch a senior reporter when he saw Hee-do running for her life. He took Hee-do with him and rushed back to the events area. On their way, the two shared a touching conversation which probably taught Hee-do an important lesson about love and breaking up.
