Tumblr Flags Wonder Woman Comic as Porn (Even Though it Isn't)

The removal of adult content from Tumblr has been a troubling one for its users since many felt that the platform was a great one to express identity, sexuality, and a number of other ideas that can be described as "adult." Sadly, Tumblr is taking this new initiative seriously and has been removing a number of posts that are deemed adult, even if they clearly don't fit the censorship category.

Case in point; a short story Gail Simone and Colleen Doran did for the Wonder Woman 75th Anniversary one-shot has been removed for "explicit" content. What's the story about you may ask? It features Diana inspiring a young child to do as much good as possible, with the kid adopting the name Star Blossom.

As you can all see, there is NOTHING explicit about the content. Unless you're prudish enough to say that Diana's costume is revealing in this story, which is an eye-rolling argument if I've ever seen one, then most people can clearly see that this should not be removed from Tumblr.

Sadly, Simone and Doran aren't the only ones facing this crisis as a number of other Tumblr users have also had their content removed, despite not being adult or explicit at all. It's clear that the social media platform needs to do some major fixing so that people won't leave them for Pornhub, which actually has a strong non-porn-filled community believe it or not.

It shouldn't be too hard to find the Wonder Woman 75th Anniversary one-shot on comic book stores if you're interested. Still, this is just dumb and Tumblr needs to do some major fixing.
