Trillion Game is a series that follows two men who dream of the day when they can each earn a trillion dollars. By achieving this goal, they can afford just about anything they want and need.
The two men in the show are Haru and Gaku, characters who are polar opposites. First, there's Haru, a persuasive, eloquent, and confident speaker who is as sociable as can be.
On the other hand, Gaku is an awkward guy. Despite this, he's a very skilled programmer.
They both met each other when they were in middle school but grew apart. Years later, they reconnected when Gaku's proposal for a bank application was rejected.
What Manga Is Trillion Game Based On?
Trillion Game is based on a manga of the same title. Riichiro Inagaki wrote the manga and Ryoichi Ikegami did the illustrations.
The manga was then serialized in Shogakukan's Big Comic Superior magazine in December 2020. To date, it already has seven tankoubon volumes and has over 1.5 million copies in circulation.
The live-action adaptation aired on local Japanese networks from July to September 2023. It was then picked up by Netflix for a global release set for October 21, 2023.
In addition to the live-action adaptation, the manga also got a TV anime adaptation for TBS.
When is Trillion Game Coming Out?
The live-action adaptation of Trillion Game is scheduled for release on Saturday, October 21, 2023, on Netflix. There will be a total of 10 episodes for the first season.
In Japan, the show already aired from July to September 2023.
The live-action adaptation was directed by Yoshiaki Murao with a script written by Daisuke Habara.
