TOHO Animation has just dropped a new trailer for Trigun Stampede and it pretty much confirms the arrival of three new characters. In addition to that, the highly anticipated anime has been given a release window confirming it will be out early next year!

The new Trigun Stampede trailer doesn't waste time in confirming that Vash is still looking for Million Knives. However, it looks like he will be getting some help along the way. At one point, Vash is captured by two reporters Meryl Stryfe and Roberto De Niro. Vash claims that they are kind to him and he intends to help them with their own mission.

Meryl and Roberto are not the only ones joining Vash in Trigun Stampede. We also get to meet Nicholas D. Wolfwood who is still carrying his trademark Punisher Cross.

Trigun Stampede also got an awesome new key visual featuring Vash and the three new characters. Check it out below.

The new cast members were likewise announced with Sakura Andou playing Meryl Stryfe, Kenji Matsuda as Roberto De Niro, and Yoshimasa Hosoya as Nicholas D. Wolfwood. They will join Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Vash the Stampede, Junya Ikeda as Knives Millions, and Maaya Sakamoto as Rem Saverem.

Trigun Stampede is based on Yasuhiro Nightow's manga and follows the misadventures of Vash the Stampede, a gunman on the run who happens to have a "60 billion double dollar" bounty on his head. Vash is known as "The Stampede" because of the destruction that zealous bounty hunters wreak on any town he visits.

For now, Trigun Stampede has not yet been given an official release date. However, the anime is already expected to premiere in January 2023. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
