TRI.BE’s Jinha Health Issues: K-pop Idol Temporarily Halts Activities With Girl Group

TRI.BE Jinha faced an issue while preparing for a comeback with the girl group.

Debuted in February 2021, TRI.BE – formerly known as LIONGIRLS and TRI.ANGLE – the seven-membered girl group immediately scored people’s attention with their single album, Da Loca. From there, they dropped more music and released additional albums, including Conmigo and Veni Vidi Vici,

Ahead of their scheduled comeback, TRI.BE’s agency confirmed that Jinha would not participate in the group’s promotions temporarily.

TRI.BE Jinha To Miss Girl Group Promotions Temporarily

On Tuesday, TRI.BE’s agency TR Entertainment penned an official statement regarding Jinha’s hiatus and condition.

It also revealed that the girl group would continue promoting with six members for now.

According to TR Entertainment, the agency noticed that Jinha’s health had an issue. Thus, it prompted the company to have her checked to determine an accurate diagnosis.

“With TRI.BE’s seven-member comeback being the top priority, we waited for Jinha’s recovery but received the advice that she needs sufficient rest and stabilization,” it said. “After a careful discussion with Jinha and the other TRI.BE members, we’ve decided to focus on Jinha’s health recovery for the time being.”

Jinha will not appear in the future album promotions because of her status, and the six members – Mire, Hyunbin, Kelly, Songsun, Soeun, and Kelly – will carry out their schedules.

TR Entertainment, in the end, asked for fans’ understanding while assuring them to continue making Jinha and its artists’ health a top priority.

TRI.BE Finds New Career

The news about Jinha’s health came months after TRI.BE landed on a new gig and partnership with the new Cartoon Network series, We Baby Bears.

They dropped the music video for The Bha Bha Song, officially becoming the first act to debut under Universal Music Group Korea. The song serves as the official theme song of the series.

We Baby Bears is a spin-off of the popular TV series, We Bare Bears. As the series’ prequel, it explores the story of young Grizz, Panda, and Ice Bear as they travel in a magical box to find a place they could call home.
