Top Magic: The Gathering Pros Got 10 Wins in Arena Mythic Point Challenge


This past weekend, the best Magic: The Gathering players from around the world competed for Mythic Points in this year's first MTG Arena Mythic Point Challenge, and some of the top pro players finished with ten wins.

Wizards of the Coast hosted the MTG Arena event on Saturday, rewarding top players with Mythic Points, and you can check the updated standings on the Magic esports website. Several Magic Pro League, Rivals League members, and other competitors shared their success on Twitter, giving us a look at who won ten times at the online event.

10 win players include MPL members like Ken Yukuhiro, Brian Braun-Duin, Márcio A Carvalho, and Brad Nelson. Other players who finished with 10 wins are Luis Scott-Vargas, Matthew Nass, Chris Kvartek, Crockeyz, Corey Burkhart, and Greg Orange.

Yukuhiro, who's now on top of the Mythic Points standings thanks to his 10-win finish, did a retrospective commentary of his Mythic Points Challenge experience of him playing his Bant Standard deck.

The 24 Magic Pro League members and 32 Rivals League players were automatically qualified to the tournament to compete with players who finished in the top 1,200 of MTG Arena's Mythic Rank of either Constructed or Limited within MTG Arena during Throne of Eldraine Season 1 (October 2019), Season 2 (November 2019), Season 3 (December 2019), or Theros Beyond Death Season 1 (January 2020).
