Tom King and DC Comics Reveal How Catwoman Finds Out About Her Pregnancy

DC fans went ballistic when Batman/Catwoman writer Tom King released an image of Batman with a fully pregnant Catwoman. This made a lot of fans wonder if the writer would actually pursue a story like this since marriage and pregnancies don't tend to end well in the realm of comic books, often getting retconned or reworked to make these characters feel young again.

Well, it seems like DC is currently supportive of a pregnant Catwoman as they revealed that King's story for the upcoming Catwoman 80th Anniversary 100-Page Spectacular details how both Bruce and Selina find out and deal with the pregnancy. In the pages shared by King and DC, Selina is feeling a bit odd and is wondering if she has either cancer or leftover Joker gas in her. As expected, it is neither and Catwoman ends up being preggers with Bruce Wayne's second child.

This seems to be a teaser for King and Clay Mann's Batman/Catwoman maxi-series that everyone is excited for, which will act as the true conclusion to King's controversial Batman run. While problematic at points, King was never afraid to make Batman look human and get the Dark Knight out of his comfort zone, which would make for some unpredictable stories.

Catwoman 80th Anniversary 100-Page Spectacular #1 will be released this April, while King and Mann's Batman/Catwoman series doesn't have a release date, as of this writing.
