Tom Hiddleston recently addressed his potential MCU return in the near future months after the second season finale of Loki.

The acclaimed MCU series ended with the titular fan-favorite character becoming the God of Stories and overseeing the timelines in the Yggdrasil alone at the End of Time.

Since the finale aired, fans have been wondering whether Hiddleston will still make his MCU return someday despite the character's fate as they would love to see more of the actor as the God of Mischief.

In his recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Hiddleston was asked about his potential MCU return as we're now months away from the airing of the Loki season 2 finale.

He responded by saying that he was still unsure about the plans regarding his potential return to his iconic role.

"I don't know. I really don't know. I know that we've reached some sort of narrative conclusion with season two, which feels very satisfying to me," he said.

Hiddleston also explained why he doesn't see Loki as a villain throughout his tenure in the role and the "interesting choices" that the character made throughout his journey.

"I'm aware that he's made some interesting choices, which could be accumulated into a picture that looks like he's a villain, and once upon a time, he was making some misguided choices," he said.

"You know, trying to take over New York and the Avengers having to assemble to stop him. That was a bad day in the office. Reeling his brother in and betraying him immediately. All bad choices. I'd like to think that 14 years later he's making some slightly more generous, loving and heroic choices."

A lot of fans are definitely hoping that Hiddleston will make more MCU appearances in the future given how beloved he is in the role and the series showed much potential for the character.

Given that the MCU is in the Multiverse Saga and the character is now overseeing the timelines, there is a possibility to bring back Loki into the fold and it is curious to see whether they'll ever revisit him again soon in some capacity.
